In 2025, The Store continued to play an important role in supporting Habitat’s work. The team improved donation processing, adopted a new color‑tag discount system, and implemented online scheduling for pickups and deliveries. Better merchandising made shopping easier for customers, and an amazing team of volunteers strengthened every part of the operation, from linens and art to the library and truck crew. Together, these improvements increased The Store’s impact and supported more families on their path to homeownership.

The answer is, “YES!”
You can schedule a free pick-up of large items you want to donate. You can also schedule delivery of large items purchased at the store for a fee.

Cars for Homes
Donating a car, truck, boat or recreational vehicle to Habitat is a great way to help families get into safe, affordable housing. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from the sale of your donated vehicle will help build and repair affordable homes right here in East Jefferson County.
