1998-2023 and beyond
Founded in 1998, Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County, in collaboration with community members, built its first home in 1999 and opened its store in 2001. Now the organization is looking ahead to 2023 and beyond with a vision for permanently affordable housing, more homes built, renovated or repaired at a faster pace, and more people housed in decent homes supporting a thriving community.
