SUMMARY:Cliff Street Cottages Planning Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, January 10\, 5:30 PM in the Habitat Store \nIn 2022 Habitat purchased four lots in the 2300 block between Cliff and Gibbs (unopened street right of way). Several months ago\, we began planning to build six cottage-style homes on the property\, with a mix of 2- and 3-bedrooms. We began the planning process by engaging a certified arborist to assess the trees and help us identify which trees can be conserved during the development process. We worked with local architect Studio STL to develop the \ndesign. The first likely residents of these homes are already selected and helping to build other homes as part of their “sweat equity” requirement. \nOn Wednesday\, January 10\, we will share the plans at 5:30 PM in the Habitat Store. We invite you to join us to see the plans\, share your comments\, and ask questions. This meeting is different from the formal design approval process the City conducts. \nWe are working to add information to our website about what we call the “Cliff Street Cottages” and hope to have that information posted around the time of this meeting.
