Construction activity at the Mason Street neighborhood will begin on Wednesday, September 16
After years of planning, permitting, fundraising, and community collaboration, the project is moving into active construction. This first phase of work will focus on preparing the site for future neighborhood infrastructure and home construction.
Initial activities will include:
- Establishing construction access points from Mason Street
- Installing erosion control measures
- Placing required project signage
- Surveying and staking work areas
- Selective clearing of trees within Phase 1 construction areas
- Initial grading and site preparation
- Future utility-related road cuts and access improvements
During this early stage of construction, neighbors and visitors can expect to see construction equipment, temporary access areas, soil stockpiles, and increased activity on the site. There will also be periods of construction-related noise and increased truck traffic as work progresses.
We recognize that construction activity can create questions and concerns, and we are committed to keeping the community informed throughout the process. This page will serve as the primary source for project updates, construction information, and answers to frequently asked questions.
As construction continues, we will share updates on project milestones, neighborhood progress, upcoming activities, and opportunities for community engagement.
Thank you for your continued interest in Mason Street and for helping make this neighborhood possible.
